I placed these two terracotta sculptures, an eagle owl and a barn owl, inside a wooden box that protects them, thus trying to plastically represent how the relationship between humans and animals is today completely reversed compared to the situation that characterized the earth until less than a century ago. Humans found themselves facing a nature that dominated them. Today it is nature that is besieged by man. A wooden box, a plexiglass case or a glass vase in my works often isolate my animals, a bit like in the dioramas of Natural History Museums.
